Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. The mother of her child is English while her father is Nigerian. Her family was in the south London Council Estate, and then went to The Brit School aged 14. She graduated with a BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was a part of various stage productions during her college days, such as King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her acting career through the movie Storm Damage. The actress has been a guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. The film's success resulted in her being cast as Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi part on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in the series 2 and 3. Madekwe also played the main character on How to lose friends & make people feel alienated, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport on ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for two weeks on The CW and then it was cancelled. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. In late May 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe who had appeared on the show as a series regular for the two previous seasons, had decided to quit the show with a guest appearance on the premiere episode of the new season. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star as Tituba the television series Salem. Madekwe married her long-time love, Iddo. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl in the past, and Goldberg has also appeared alongside Madekwe in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for a Gemini Award, hails from an extensive Hamilton family. She was raised by the parents Roy and Patty along with four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's brothers were athletic and were avid baseball players during the summer months and hockey in the winter. Ashley never actually walked -she did dance, so when she was just two years old, she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. It was then that she discovered Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley continued to compete through high school graduation, with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. Ashley was awarded the best soloist at each of the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
