Initially, she rejected the role because she thought it was too fragile. Glen created a brand new character to play for her using Sheba being a more formidable role model. The Living Legend was accepted when she was able to read the initial 25-page script. The show ran for one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and co-starred along with Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
