Dennings dated Nick Zano her "2 Broke Girls" co-star from 2011 to 2014. Following the breakup her relationship, she began to date the singer Josh Groban. The two remained in a relationship until the year 2016. Dennings met for the first time Andrew W.K., a musician, in the beginning of 2021. In May 2021 they announced that their relationship had begun. Dennings has been a fan since 2014. Dennings admits that while she was Jewish and grew to be a member within the Jewish community on a cultural and ethnic basis, religion doesn't play a significant element of her day life. She has a variety of activities, which include gardening, reading and painting. She was planning to go to an art college, however after the entire portfolio of her was damaged by flooding, her plans fell apart. The flood was her sign to begin acting. She does not drink or smoke and enjoys practicing Transcendental Meditation. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights, in addition to having a cat.
